Your 5-Day Itinerary
Day 1: Origin → Hangzhou → West Lake Sculling Boat Experience
Arrive in Hangzhou, private airport pickup. Head to the West Lake Scenic Area and board a private sculling boat, avoiding the crowds to float on the green waves of Lixi Lake. Then check into a lakeside resort hotel and enjoy a family welcome dinner at the hotel in the evening.
Day 2: Hangzhou → Longjing Village Tea Picking → Nine Creeks and Eighteen Gullies Water Play
In the morning, head to Longjing Village. Under the guidance of a tea farmer, experience tea picking and make a custom tea sachet. Lunch features authentic Tea-Scented Chicken. In the afternoon, go to Nine Creeks and Eighteen Gullies to play in the shallow streams and catch small fish (seasonal), letting the child's nature run free.
Day 3: Hangzhou → Xixi Wetland Sculling Boat → To Wuzhen
In the morning, head to Xixi National Wetland Park. Take a sculling boat through the reed marshes to find filming locations of "If You Are the One" and experience the tranquility of the "City's Kidney". After lunch, take a private transfer to Wuzhen, check into a boutique guesthouse inside the West Scenic Zone, and take a night tour of the water market.
Day 4: Wuzhen → Mu Xin Art Museum → Natural Dye Workshop
In the early morning, experience Wuzhen Morning Tea, eating Dingsheng Cake. In the morning, visit the Mu Xin Art Museum to appreciate art. In the afternoon, take the child to the Natural Dye Workshop to experience blue calico making, dyeing a scarf to take home.
Day 5: Wuzhen → Return
Wake up naturally and take a final stroll through the ancient town's alleys. After lunch, private transfer to Hangzhou Xiaoshan Airport or Shanghai Hongqiao Airport, concluding the pleasant Jiangnan family trip.

What age is this itinerary suitable for?
This itinerary is designed for children aged 3-12. The activity intensity is low, and the interaction is strong (tea picking, water play, tie-dye). We also arrange a "wake up naturally" pace, making it perfect for families with young children.
What is the difference between the West Lake sculling boat and the park's large boat?
The sculling boat is a traditional local boat, seating only 4-6 people, offering excellent privacy. We can row into the Lixi Lake area where large boats cannot go. The water is clearer, and you can see wild ducks and lotus flowers—a completely different experience from the noisy large boats.
Is it convenient to stay inside Wuzhen Scenic Area?
It is very convenient and necessary. Staying inside the scenic area (West Zone) allows you unlimited entry/exit and lets you enjoy the tranquility of the ancient town after tourists disperse in the early morning and night. The guesthouses we arrange usually provide shuttle services, so you don't need to worry about luggage.
What if it rains?
Rain in Jiangnan is also part of the scenery. We will adjust the itinerary, such as adding indoor activities (e.g., Zhejiang Provincial Museum, Silk Museum) or enjoying tea and listening to the rain in a tea house, ensuring the kids have fun and the adults stay dry.
