History Written in Salt and Stone
Beyond "The Knockout"
It's not just about checking in at Meijia Dayuan and Sansanxu Street. We explain why there are so many Qilou here (Overseas Chinese history). Includes a "Qiaoxiang Coffee" experience under the old arcades to read the story behind the architecture.
Shipwreck & Maritime Silk Road
At Hailing Island, the highlight is the Nanhai No. 1 Museum (the world's only Song Dynasty shipwreck museum). We offer a "Little Archaeologist" simulation, allowing you to experience the thrill of unearthing history firsthand, rather than just a superficial visit.
Local Fisher Lifestyle
At Shuangyuewan or Hailing Island, skip the standard beach time. Join local fishermen for "Mudflat Fishing" at low tide to learn how to catch crabs and pick shells. Cook your catch for dinner and experience the true life of living off the sea!
Cliff & Rocks
Hike the "One-Meter Sunshine" cliff plank road at Haiguiwan (Sea Turtle Bay) and visit the Reef Bar. Perfect Instagram spots and the best place to feel the uncanny workmanship of nature.

Why visit the Nanhai No. 1 Museum?
It houses the Nanhai No. 1, an 800-year-old Song Dynasty merchant ship. It is the largest and most well-preserved ancient shipwreck found in China, offering a unique perspective on the trade of the Maritime Silk Road, and is an excellent place to learn about ancient Chinese navigation history.
Is this tour focused on "The Knockout" drama?
While we visit filming locations like Sansanxu Street, the focus is on the history behind them—the Overseas Chinese culture and the unique Qilou architecture that makes the setting so dramatic. We take you to understand the architecture, not just watch the show.
What is good to eat on Hailing Island?
Besides the seafood you catch yourself, Hailing Island is famous for sea urchin rice, fish balls, and pig intestine rolls. We will take you to local favorite old shops to taste the most authentic Yangjiang flavor and avoid tourist traps.
