What Happens After You Send an Enquiry: Timeline and Expectations

Summary

An enquiry does not go into a shared queue: it opens a file, and one planner owns it from the first message to the last day of travel. This follows the stages that come next, what changes once you confirm, what arrives before you fly, and the response times we are not willing to promise.

What Happens After You Send an Enquiry: Timeline and Expectations

A File Opens, and One Person Owns It

An enquiry does not sit in a shared queue. It opens a file, and one planner owns it from the first message to the last day of travel. The person who checks a hotel's availability is the one who later explains why another date works better. The first two days are set out in our 48-hour process.

What You Decide, and What We Check

Two kinds of work run side by side. You decide dates, cities, travel style and the standard you expect. We check availability, driving times between stops, and whether the route fits the time you have. Nothing is sent back to you that a ground team can check faster.

The Quiet Middle, Where the Clock Is Not Ours

Some stages move at supplier speed: a hotel confirming a room type, a venue releasing a slot, a rail window opening. A reply takes an hour; a confirmation cannot be forced. This is the part of the timeline we explain rather than compress, and why we hold a date rather than guess at one.

What Changes Once You Confirm

Until you confirm, a route is a proposal. After confirmation, rooms are blocked and seats registered in your name, and the trip stops being reversible at no cost. Those terms belong in the travel contract; the money side in deposits and payments.

Between Confirmation and Departure

From confirmation onward the file moves through documents rather than decisions: names checked once against passports, tickets issued in those names, and a day-by-day pack sent before you fly. The mismatch in real-name bookings has to be caught here, so we ask for the passport once.

After You Land, and After You Go Home

During travel you have a coordinator rather than a call centre, and the same person answers on arrival day and when a train is delayed. After you return, the working file closes: identity copies are deleted, and only what a licensed business must keep for accounting remains. How we handle your documents covers that in full.

What We Will Not Promise About Timing

We will not promise a fixed reply time for every message. Complex dates, peak windows and long routes take longer. What we do aim for is simple: a named planner answering a complete enquiry within one working day, and a usable shape within two. When we cannot hold to that, we say so at the time.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a fixed response time I should expect?

No, and we would rather say that plainly. A complete enquiry is answered by a named planner, usually within one working day, with a shape following within two. An incomplete enquiry comes back with questions first. Peak dates and multi-country routes take longer.

At what point does a trip stop being reversible?

At confirmation, when rooms are blocked and seats registered in your name. Before that a route is only a proposal and dates are still open. What can be changed afterwards, and what it costs, is written down before you pay anything.

Will I deal with one person or a team?

One planner owns your file end to end and stays your contact after arrival. Supplier-side work is coordinated from Shenzhen, with ground teams in Hunan, Yunnan, Zhejiang and Guangdong, so you are not passed between offices.
